These pups were rescued by an animal services officer when they were just 2 1/2 weeks old because they were not being properly cared for. Our Fund was able to take them in and raise them until they were old enough to adopt out to loving homes. The two brown pups have been adopted, and we are still looking for a home for Matoskah.
Matoskah, our "white bear", is extremely well mannered (his foster mom is doing an excellent job with positive reinforcement behavior work). He sits and waits for the OK to eat, and will wait until you give the word before he steps through a doorway. He is great with other dogs, cats and children (his foster mom has all three). Our fund is vaccinating, deworming, and microchipping him, and will be able to neuter him soon. Because Matoskah is all white, with that partial pink nose, it is important that he not be left out in a yard all day, especially without daily sunscreen. This sweet dog is a great house dog and when he is able to go out for exercise, he is already used to wearing sunscreen.
