The volunteers of the Animals In Need Fund strive to do more do more than help injured dogs and cats without homes. We are building a community where every dog and cat is altered, tagged, micro-chipped, and placed safely in a loving home. Our community outreach programs provide reduced cost services.
How do we do this?
Spay & Neuter Clinics
We urge all pet owners to be responsible and invite you to join us in preventing unnecessary pet homelessness. The AINF offers $20 copay feline spays and neuters. This service is currently available for felines while we work to raise funds to support spay and neuter clinics for dogs in the future. Contact Us for more information.
At Nipomo Dog & Cat Hospital we will place a microchip in your pet and register it for the low cost of $25. This is lifetime registration with PetLink.net. Promote Adoption and Discourage Purposeful Breeding
The puppies and kittens you see at local pets shops and at on-line “kennels” are the product of inhumane treatment of animals. Learn more about puppy mills:
We partner with Community organizations: Fice Cities Homeless Coalition, works hard to service families and individuals by providing the resources, support, and hope that they need to become self-sufficient, productive community members.
During the events, individuals can do everything from shower and have a medical examination to fill out applications and be given a cell phone. Now, owners can bring their pets along with them. The Animals In Need Fund provides physical examinations, vaccinations, flea prevention, NSAID’s and antibiotics if needed. All products are donated, and the veterinarian for each event volunteers their time. It is a great way to serve those who have found themselves in need of support and assistance.
